Although the Salvadoran menu items drew me in, the one Mexican dish we ordered was my favorite. Restaurante El Buen Gusto offers both Mexican and Salvadoran classics. We ordered the Salvadoran chicken sandwich, cheese papusa, pork papusa, and Mexican enchiladas. Besides the three cheesy chicken enchiladas with green sauce, last came with sides of crispy fries and a salad. The portion sizes were substantial, and there was more than enough for two adults across two meals. Everything was delicious, though I especially liked the enchiladas' cheesiness and the fries. I would have appreciated more sauces to accompany the papusas and enchiladas in the future; they were a bit dry by our second meal otherwise.
